TESSA's 6th BIRTHDAY BEACH PARTY
Tessa turned six years old on 11 June and we had her party one day before leaving for Yosemite. She had a dozen friends for fun at North Torrey Pines Beach. Lee handmade Tessa's birthday cake with a sea theme and Tessa chose a sea star as the animal. He used a cookie cutter to create the separate colored sea stars and used graham cracker crumbs & color sugar for the sandy sea floor. Plastic sea animals went on the sides with frosting seaweed.

Tessa's friends from school, soccer, & Girl Scouts were: Lucy, Ava, Kelsey, Colton, Emily, Salah & Issac, Camryn, & Torrey. Games were limbo, sand crab gathering, gold coin treasure hunting, & sand castle building.

We came back to the house for swimming, cake & ice cream. She had so many great gifts including her Sea Turtle night light, Flashlight Puppy, Calico Critters playhouse, & reading books. Grandma Bobbie & Poppa Don were there as well as Great Aunt Diana, big sister Nicole & Chris too.
