Paint Work

The body was painted with four coats over a couple of months time, as I wanted several coats of the single-stage enamel and it was a two-tone. Chemo sent these photos in late-June.
Cherry Red began in 1965 and the Black roof was an optional (but not standard) choice.
The interior will be the original Parchment, which is a light ivory color.

Chemo delivered the M346 back home again on July 11th, five years after he'd picked it up for the body restoration work. Five of us unloaded it off the trailer and lifted it up onto the wood dolly I'd built. The dolly was designed to keep the body safe above and allow me to roll-out the chassis during restoration. Body panels are razor-straight with no signs of the massive welding & repair work that this T34 experienced. Paint is a beautiful shade of true cherry red that changes hue when photographed with a flash.
