1965 RHD Electric Sunroof in England

1965 346 (345 012 044) RHD Sunroof from Leeds, England
"85K miles, originally from South Africa, imported to England in 1999, full MOT, 12V, daily driver, 4000GBP = $7200."
OVERALL: original 95% complete straight-body rust-free 346 with working sunroof
EXTERIOR: slight rust on front hood, black paint on lower 5" of body, no damage
INTERIOR: complete but redone in non-stock style
PROBLEMS: hideous paint & interior, missing window trims & rocker trims, fresh air vents filled with bondo, rocker panels redone
NOTES: passed MOT which means that it's been inspected for rust, brakes, steering, electrical, and general roadworthiness

LEE'S NOTES: there are currently 14 Model 346s (and only 4 from 1965) in the world so I could not be too picky since I wanted a 346 to restore. I was committed to a pan-off resto so the paint, fresh-air vents, & rocker work would not be a big problem. Conversion back to 6V was not an issue. Running strong & low mileage was a key feature (reduces resto costs & work). Another big deal for me was that it's the 2nd oldest Model 346 registered worldwide and the oldest known surviving today. But perhaps the greatest deal-closer was that Andy Holmes in England was willing to inspect, drive, negotiate purchase, and make all arrangements for exporting the T34 back to California for me! I would not have done it without his help.
