Arcona White & Black 1965 (345 137 782) 2nd owner, rust-free, black plate California car, all original paperwork/manuals. Original 6 volt electrical. 145k total miles on car, 2k on rebuilt 1641 single port engine with new case. With the exception of the squareweave carpeting and refinished seats that are 2 years old, this car is all original and in fantastic condition. NOS parts have been used throughout including complete fog and tail light assemblies, rare Karmann side badges, Marchal headlights, and numerous mechanical bits like a genuine VW stamped muffler. Rare and genuine VW accessories include the parcel tray, cat's eye mirror, trim rings and that authentic Petri full circle horn ring. The dashpads, doorcaps and doorpanels are all the originals and are unblemished since this car has been garaged it's whole life. It has been masked and resprayed twice in it's life so the paint would be the only semi-weak point on the car. It looks really sharp but there are the little odd door dings, paint flaws and small fixes from 40 years of use. The car does come with a full set of the reproduction rubber to do that job correctly in the future if that's your intention. The most important thing to consider is that the whole car, including the battery area, is rust free. Dry, original, complete, clean Type 34s are impossible to find.
