All 1967 models had: | Dual-carb 1600cc engine, 12-Volt electrical system, black dash knobs, squared radio area, VW1600L rear script, thick tail light bases with inset lenses, single-handle inner door pulls, door locks on top rear edge of upper door pads, heater levers at e-brake base, black symmetrical rear view mirror head, rounded door panel trim, coil on the left side of the generator, & over-the-top ignition switch. |
Color Combinations: | Monotone was the standard paint
scheme but two-tone could be special-ordered. Seats were either leatherette with a color-matched inner vinyl basketweave section or leatherette with an inner cloth herringbone pattern.
