44,000-mile 1967 Coupe in Southern California

"Amazingly preserved 2-owner 1967 Coupe with 44K-original miles, VIN #347 038 831 & matching engine #T0 270 142. One of the nicest unmolested 1967 T34s in the world. Excellent mechanical condition that can be driven anywhere with speed & comfort. Found in 2003 in Arizona and brought to Carlsbad, CA then always stored indoors. Had been repainted (same Castillian Yellow) by previous owner in 1980's."

Sold for $12,500 from Carlsbad, CA to collector in Newport Beach, CA in late-May 2007.

Driving evaluation by Lee on 27May07: "This is one of those time-capsule cars that has not been modified or restored. It starts immediately, runs smoothly in all gears, has loads of power, has responsive brakes, and is quietest T34 I've ever driven. It's got all the unique 1967 parts, has immaculate original houndstooth seat upholstery, uncracked dash pads, excellent wood grain dash material, and excellent chrome bumpers & aluminum window trims. Doors & hoods open & close smoothly. It's one of those T34s that will only appreciate over time and one that can be enjoyed by anyone with little maintenance. My short list of minor things to be fixed: reverse lights not working, right armrest pad cracked, missing window winder handles, right door map pocket elastic is stretched-out, missing ignition cap, rear hood seal torn, missing left Bosch horn, mismatched wiper arms, & broken sunvisor clips."
