FINDING CHASSIS, BODY, & ENGINE NUMBERS: There are three VIN numbers on each T34, the body, the chassis, and the engine. The body VIN# is located inside the spare tire area on an aluminum plate riveted to the right side of the inner wall, stamped into that plate. The chassis VIN# is located under the rear seat, stamped into a black plate. And the engine VIN# is stamped on the center of the engine case. If the T34 is original then the body & chassis numbers should match. If these numbers do not match then the chassis has usually been replaced at some point with another chassis, usually from a Type 3 vehicle.
