PureT34 is a private group of T34 owners dedicated to stock/original restorations that was founded in 2003. It has over 100 members worldwide that discuss restoration details, offer support to owners, share sources for parts & services, and generally help each other to perform quality restoration work. By maintaining discussions to stock/original topics, the PureT34 group offers quality information & sources to its members. PureT34 has an email discussion group & web site for its members. There is no cost to being a PureT34 member, only a promise of dedication to stock T34 restoration work. Members submit recommendations for quality T34s and the owners are invited based on their plan to maintain an original T34. PureT34 Consignment Services is an extention of this dedication, providing T34 owners with a professional method to sell their T34s and to find quality stock T34s that are for sale around the world. For T34 owners it offers two options: 1) T34 sold at owners home or 2) T34 sold at PureT34 home. See the Selling & Buying sections on the left side for details on the options. For T34 buyers it offers access to the currently available T34s and provides expert advice on the pros & cons of each T34.

Lee Hedges is the organizer of PureT34 & PureT34 Consignment Services. He has been dedicated to T34s for over 20 years and is widely known as a T34 expert. He founded the T34 Registry in 1989 and ran the club until it changed to a free internet organization in 2003. In 2003 he founded the PureT34 group to focus his dedication on original T34s. For two decades Lee has personally helped hundreds of T34 owners with their restorations, and now the PureT34 Consignment Service is a way for Lee to help fund his T34 restoration expenses by helping serious owners/buyers that are interested in stock T34s. Lee is based in San Diego, California USA and has owned 10 T34s since 1987.

He currently owns two T34s: a restored Ruby Red 1962 Cabriolet replica (below right) and an early-1965 RHD Electric Sunroof M346 (below left) that is currently under full restoration. The 1962 is #0 001 776 and is the oldest known restored T34 in the world today. It was discovered in a Los Angeles collectors yard not having been driven since 1972, and restored in 1999-2000 as an accurate replica to the prototype M341 unveiled at the September 1961 Frankfurt Auto Show. The 1965 is #345 012 044 and is the second earliest M346 known to exist today. It was found in England in 2004 with the help of Andy Holmes, completely disassembled by July 2004, and has been slowly progressed through the rust repair stage (Sean Roper) & bodywork stage (Chemo Ordaz). It still has at least 2-3 years ahead to finish the paint & reassembly stage.
